To ensure your 22 IDEX V3 machine operates properly, it is crucial to maintain it in good mechanical and operational condition. We have a maintenance schedule that outlines the necessary steps to keep your machine in optimal condition. Adhering to this maintenance schedule is essential; neglecting maintenance can lead to additional wear or damage to components. If the machine is not maintained properly and components are damaged or worn out due to lack of maintenance, they will not be replaced under warranty. We highly encourage all our users to maintain their machines according to this schedule.
Recommended Spare Parts:
The components listed above are recommended to keep on hand. This minimalistic list prepares you for most situations and unexpected circumstances in high-temperature printing, helping to minimize downtime. This list is based on our experience and feedback from our customers.

Monthly Maintenance Steps:
- Extruders: Inspect, clean, and lubricate extruders and their gears. Remove the two top screws in the front of the extruders to access the gears.
- Belt Tension: Adjust the belt tension on all four belts. Inspect belt tensioners and idlers along the belt path to ensure they are rotating smoothly without any binding.
- Hotend Temperature Sensors: Inspect the wiring for any damage. Watch for temperature spikes in the web interface; replace the sensor if fluctuations occur.
- Hotend Heaters: Inspect wires for insulation integrity. Replace if damaged.
- Radiator Cooling Fan: Ensure the fan spins smoothly and silently. Check motor torque by preheating the tool and lightly touching the fan.
- Hot End Ground Wires: Ensure the wires are intact with good insulation. Inspect the grounding wire attached to the hotend.
- XY-Axis and Z-Axis Lubrication: Clean and lubricate the linear rails and lead screws. Apply new lubricant after wiping off the old one.
